The Vulgar Virgin – B24 shot down near Ploiesti during 1st Tidal Wave

Rel+Mil, December 7, 2017August 14, 2025

In one of my outings, some friends form Ploiesti took me to a crash site of a Consolidated B-24 Liberator bomber, shot down during the first Tidal Wave, on August, 1st, 1943. Most likely (based on archives and books) it’s the place where “The Vulgar Virgin” had it’s last moments.
